Kindergarten-1st Grade
Kelly Meyer
Our classroom theme this year is “Color”, and if you walk down the hall to our room you will see my students’ brightest work displayed on the walls. I believe that creativity and fun are especially vital to learning at this age, and I incorporate as many active learning opportunities as possible. I hope you can visit our little family at the end of the hall very soon!

Respect is a cornerstone for everything else we do in the classroom. I respect the students’ thoughts and expect them to give respect to the other students and myself.
The students begin using positive supportive words and actions.

My desire for my students is to help them develop a love of learning that will last a lifetime. To guide them in this direction, students in my classroom will improve their critical-thinking skills through a holistic approach to learning which includes textbook, computer, hands-on and project-based instruction. Most important, I want my students to know how much Jesus loves them and desires a personal friendship with each one.
